Compost Drop-off Topsfield

Boxford residents now have the opportunity to drop off their leaves and natural yard waste - including brush up to a maximum diameter of four inches - at the Topsfield Drop-Off Composting Facility. Boxford residents must first purchase a $10 access ticket in Boxford at either the Boxford Town Hall Mondays through Thursdays 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or at the Boxford Drop-Off Center on Saturdays from 8 AM to 3:30 PM.   

Once residents have purchased a $10 access ticket in Boxford they may drop off their leaves and yard waste on Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM at the Topsfield Highway Facility, 279 Boston St. (Rt 1) in Topsfield. Users must check in with the attendant in Topsfield, show proof of residency, turn in their paid access ticket and after emptying their bags/containers, take their bags home with them. Each $10 ticket entitles residents to a one-time use of Topsfield’s Drop-Off Composting. Additional visits require additional tickets. Compost Center is open April-November
