The Town of Boxford has hired a new Parks Program Director to run the 2022 summer program.

From Town Administrator Matt Coogan:

Many of you are aware that the Boxford Parks Program is in a period of transition.  Nancy Coughlin, who directed the program successfully for over a decade, officially stepped down from her role.  On behalf of the Town of Boxford, I’d like to thank Nancy for her dedication in overseeing a cherished program for our community.

My office has been working over the last several months to find a qualified candidate to manage this well utilized program of over 200 children safely.  It would not have been possible to run the program this summer unless we were able to hire a new director.

Fortunately, I’m pleased to announce that we have hired a great candidate this past week and the town is moving forward with the Parks Program. The timeframe for planning and coordination is much shorter compared to years past, so modifications or adjustments to the program may be considered to keep the camp safe and successful. Thank you for your patience as we roll out the program under new leadership.

We will post information on the town website soon regarding hiring and registration.
