Valley Road Roadway Closure
Barring any other unforeseen circumstances, the DPW’s contractor plans on a two week roadway through closure beginning on Monday March 29th and lifting Friday April 9th. The closure will be 24/7 to through traffic in the area between #67 and #78 Valley Road. The purpose of this closure is to replace a failing culvert. The closure is necessary for the safety and welfare of the residents and workers. The roadway will be open from each end to allow for local traffic, first responders and busses to access the residents. This work will cause typical nuisances associated with construction such as excessive noise, dust, vibration, and traffic delays. We urge you to give yourself additional time for travel. The schools will be reaching out with further instructions as necessary. Please reach out to any private vendors (i.e. Curbside trash/recycling, landscaping, deliveries, home healthcare, etc.) and let them know of this temporary impact.
