School Resource Officer
The Boxford School Resource Officer program is a collaborative effort by law enforcement officers, court personnel, educators, students, parents, and community, in an effort to reduce crime, drug abuse, violence and provide a clean, safe, and secure learning environment for everyone.
Sergeant Kara Fitzpatrick is the School Resource Officer and assists at the two elementary schools, as well as Masconomet Middle and High Schools. School Officers are tasked with assisting schools with criminal matters and quality of life issues. Responsibilites include assisting students and gathering information about activity that may negatively impact the peace, safety, and security of the schools, its students, and staff.
