Eligibility for FOURTH dose of the COVID-19 Vaccine
 
The CDC approved additional booster doses (fourth doses for immunocompromised individuals over ages 12 who are moderately or severely immunocompromised AND for the general public over age 50.
 
The FOURTH dose of the COVID-19 vaccine for immunocompromised people and people over 50 should be administered at least 4 months from the third dose of Pfizer or Moderna vaccines.

Current Vaccine Recomendations / Schedule:
  • All individuals over age 5 are currently eligible for primary vaccine series (FIRST AND SECOND DOSES).
  • All individuals over age 12 are currently eligible for booster vaccine/THIRD DOSE (at least 5 months from second dose).
  • Immunocompromised individuals over age 12 are eligible for FOURTH/BOOSTER dose.
  • The general public and over age 50 are eligible for a FOURTH/BOOSTER dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
  • The general public and people who are NOT immunocompromised  (age 12-50) are NOT yet eligible for a FOURTH/BOOSTER dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
  • Children under age 5 are not yet eligible for any COVID-19 vaccines.
