Willow Rd Culvert Replacement Update #4

The Willow Road Culvert Replacement Project began on Monday, June 6th.  A project page is available on the Town website with information on the project and updates:  https://www.town.boxford.ma.us/home/pages/culvert-replacement-project-89-willow-road-route-133

Below is the final update from DPW Superintendent/ Town Engineer Chris Olbrot.

Final Update #4 7/1

Traffic flow on Willow Rd was restored Wednesday afternoon, June 29th after the paving was completed on the east bound side of Willow Rd.  The detour ended Thursday, July 30 and all detour signage has been removed.  There are a few remaining items to be completed over the next several weeks, including final guardrail installation and close of project, but these items will not require any detours or road closures.

I'd like to thank all involved who worked diligently to complete this project ahead of schedule.  That includes R. Bates and Sons, EJ Paving, and their subcontractors.  Thank you also to the Boxford Police Department, Communications Department, School Administration, the Conservation Commission, our Public Works employees, and our neighbors of Georgetown and Groveland.  We appreciate the patience of our residents and local businesses throughout this important project.
