What To Do In The Event Of A Power Outage

Due to the predicted weather forecasted for Friday, December 23, please follow the instructions below should you experience a power outage:

Please notify National Grid at 1-800-465-1212, or via their website at   https://www1.nationalgridus.com/outages.

If multiple residents in your area contact National Grid, it will immediately alert National Grid to a more widespread outage.  It is very important that ALL residents experiencing an outage contact National Grid immediately when an outage occurs so that prompt repair of the problem may begin.

If you see National Grid crews on-site repairing downed wires or DPW crews removing downed trees, for your safety, PLEASE DO NOT APPROACH the working crew.  If you have any questions for National Grid please call them at 800-465-1212, and the DPW may be reached at 978-352-6555.

Please do not call the Police or Fire Departments to report an outage unless you have an emergency.

The Boxford Police Station will be available for those who need charge cell phones or access bathroom/shower facilities.
