Town Administrator Screening Committee

Boxford’s longstanding Town Administrator, Mr. Alan Benson, will be retiring from his position effective August 4, 2021. The Board of Selectmen recently appointed members to the Boxford Town Administrator Screening Committee (the “Committee”) charging them with commencing a search for a new Town Administrator. The Committee is actively seeking input, feedback and comments from interested Boxford residents as part of the recruitment process. A virtual public forum will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.  Zoom link information is available at the Town Website.  In addition, residents are encouraged to email comments to:  hire@boxfordma.gov .

Residents are asked to focus comments and input on the following questions:

  1. What experience and characteristics do you consider essential for the next Town Administrator          
  2. Identify challenges you feel the town will face in the immediate future and further down the road (i.e. 10+ years).
