Public hearing 8/29 on Updated Aggregation Plan for Boxford Community Electricity

In early 2022, the Town of Boxford created its plan for Boxford Community Electricity, an electricity aggregation program which aims to provide residents and businesses more electricity choices and more renewable energy. The Town held an initial public hearing in January 2022. The Town has since updated its plan to incorporate changes from the Department of Public Utilities for new aggregation programs. The Town is holding a public hearing on the updated plan on August 29, 2022 at the Select Board meeting. 

The updated plan is available electronically on the program website BoxfordElectricity.com, and in hard copy at the Town Administrator’s office and the Boxford Public Library. Submit comments electronically through the program website, in writing to the Town Administrator’s office, 7A Spofford Road, Boxford, MA 01921 or verbally at the public hearing.
