Lockwood Lane Bridge Opens 11/6 at 4PM

Bridge Picture

We are pleased to announce that by 4:00 PM Today, Friday November 6th, the Lockwood Lane Bridge over Fish Brook will officially be opened to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic. First responders, solid waste, and the school transportation services have been notified, and we urge residents to speak to private vendors and let them know of this opening as well.

It should be noted, the town is working with the contractor on a few general punch list items to close out the project completely. One of those items will require a partial road closure for a period of 1-2 days in the coming weeks. An exact date has not been set yet. It is expected that alternating traffic and a detail officer will be utilized as traffic mitigation for that work.

We would like to thank our residents for their continued patience throughout this project duration.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Chris Olbrot, DPW Superintendent/Town Engineer at 978-352-6555 or colbrot@boxfordma.gov.
