Power Outages
  • If your electricity goes out, please notify National Grid at 1-800-465-1212, or via their website at   https://www1.nationalgridus.com/outages.
  • If multiple residents in your area contact National Grid, it will immediately alert National Grid to a more widespread outage.  It is very important that ALL residents experiencing an outage contact National Grid immediately when an outage occurs so that prompt repair of the problem may begin.
  • If you see National Grid crews on-site repairing downed wires or DPW crews removing downed trees, for your safety, PLEASE DO NOT APPROACH the working crew.  If you have any questions for National Grid please call them at 800-465-1212, and the DPW may be reached at 978-352-6555.
  • Please do not call the Police or Fire Departments to report an outage unless you have an emergency.

Trash and Recycling Pickup
  • Trash and recycling pickup is scheduled for Wednesday, October 27. 
  • Waste Management recommends not putting trash out curbside until tomorrow morning (by 7am) when the high winds are supposed to subside.
  • If you have any questions regarding trash and recycling pick up, please contact the Board of Health at 978-887-2875 or you may contact Waste Management directly at 800‐972‐4545.
