Important Announcement Regarding Trash and Recycling Pickup

Due to the Covid surge we are experiencing, our trash/recycling company, Waste Management, is experiencing loss of drivers and workmen due to Covid. As a result, new staff are being asked to collect in Boxford, and many residents are experiencing non-pick up of trash and/or recycling. Your Board of Health is addressing the many reports from residents daily. We ask for your patience for the immediate future through the current Covid surge. Continue to call in if your trash and/or recycling is not picked up as detailed on the Board of Health page on the Town website. Leave your trash and or recycling out for at least 48 hours. If it is not picked up in 48 hours, store it for the next week. Also remember that next week, Monday, January 17, is a holiday. Trash/recycling pick up will be delayed by one day.
