Based on the results of the community engagement, the market analysis, and site visits and interviews, StudioLuz will be presenting a final report with recommended uses for 188 Washington and 4 Middleton Rd on Wednesday September 13 at Town Hall starting at 7PM with next step recommendations.
As per its charge by the Boxford Select Board, the Adaptive Reuse of Buildings Advisory (ARBA) Committee shall help determine the future uses of the former COA building (4 Middleton Rd) and the former West Library (188 Washington Street). Over the last few months, the Committee has been working with a consultant team through a MassDevelopment technical assistance grant, led by StudioLuz. The team’s scope was to facilitate a public engagement process to determine potential future uses and present potential programming scenarios for the redevelopment of these properties based on public feedback, as well as a market analysis. The ARBA Committee will continue meeting. This is the first phase in determining the future uses of these buildings.
