On Monday, December 17, 2019, the Board of Selectmen were honored to recognize the achievements of Boxford's James L. Melvin American Legion Post #379 on the 100th Anniversary of the founding of the National American Legion. Many Boxford Veterans were in attendance for this moving ceremony.
