Calling all Volunteers!

The Town of Boxford is calling for volunteers to assist in weeding a constructed wetland replication area in Boxford Common next Monday and Tuesday, July 8 and 9, beginning at 8:00 a.m. and working in four hour shifts to 4:00 p.m.  Supervision will be provided. The goal is to suppress and hopefully eradicate Japanese Hops, an invasive vine. Volunteers are requested to bring their own light gloves, trowel and bucket or bag to collect the uprooted weeds. A sun hat and long sleeved shirt are recommended.    Perfect opportunity to get those volunteer hours in for Masco students!
