The Boxford Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing to consider amending its Zoning Bylaw, Town Code, Chapter 196 by adding a new section “C” to §196-18. O Official or Open Space District, and to amend section “A” of §196-30. Site Plan, to provide for “as of right” siting of Large Scale Ground Mounted Solar Photovoltaic Installations within a designated Overlay District by providing standards for the design, construction, operation, monitoring, modification and removal of such installations that address public safety, minimize impacts on scenic, natural and historic resources and that provide adequate financial assurance in the event of abandonment or removal of such Installations. 

Said hearing will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 7:30 PM in the Boxford Town Hall, Meeting Room #1, 7A Spofford Road, Boxford, MA 01921.  Complete information relative to the proposed amendment is available for inspection during regular business hours at the Town Clerk’s office as well as the Planning Office at 7A Spofford Road, Boxford, MA, Tel. 978-887-6000.
