Boxford Firefighters Relief Association

Who we are

The Boxford Firefighter's Relief Association (BFFA) was established during the 1950's by the citizens of Boxford to help support their local fire department and members. The Associations first two prioities was to assist any injured firefighter and help raise funds for new equipment. Over the years the Association has adapted due to changing cultures. Starting in the 1990's, the Town hired its first full time Chief and by 2001 added two additional full-time firefighters. These new changes also brought an increased budjet leaving the Association to adapt its Mission to one of supporting firefighters during illness, injury or other family crisises.

In addition to supporting our Firefighters, we also sponsor the

  1. Boy Scout Troop 51
  2. Explore Post 911
  3. Matthew Smith Scholarship
  4. 4th of July Parade refreshments and trophies
