Having difficulty with the drop down menus?
Most likely you have recently upgraded your computer’s web browser to Internet Explorer 8. This new version by Microsoft is not compatible with many websites. On your web browser, try clicking on the “tools” menu and enabling the “compatibility view” option. This should allow the Boxford web site drop down menus to become functional again.

The Town of Boxford’s Rails Trails Sub-Committee held a public hearing on April 13th for the purpose of presenting, hearing comment, and finalizing a draft feasibility study and conceptual design plan for the proposed 2.8+/- mile Boxford segment of the Border to Boston Recreational Trail. When are Annual and Special Town Meetings this year?
Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, Elections will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2010, and Special Town Meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 26, 2010. For further information, contact the Board of Selectmen's Office at (978) 887-6000, Ext. 502.
How can I access the 2008 Annual Town Report?
The 2008 Annual Town Report is available for the first time on the Town's website. Click here to access it. Reference copies will also be available at the Town Library, Council on Aging and Town Hall.
How do I pay my Property and Excise Taxes Online?
Secure online payment is available through UniBank. Payment options are by personal checking account or credit card (VISA is not accepted). A service fee is added to your payment if a credit card is used. (See fee schedule.)

Potential Library Design Issues - July 2010
On August 5th there was a community meeting with the architect chosen to execute the schematic design phase of the 2010 library project. They presented preliminary ideas for the project and collected input from residents. There will be two additional community meetings on September 30th and October 21st. Cyclical Inspection Program
The Assessor's Office Cyclical Property Inspection Project began June 1st.
Inspections may be conducted on Saturdays. Data collectors will have photo ID and their vehicle information will be on record with the Police Department. If no one is home at the time of our inspection, a card will be left with further information.
Phase two of the program has begun with inspections to the following streets:
Anna's Way, Bayns Hill Rd, Belvedere Rd, Brook Rd, Dole Hill Ln, Essex St, Franklin Rd, Glendale Rd, Ipswich Rd (#452-555), Kimball Rd, Macdonald Dr, Main St (#408-616), Mt Vernon Rd, Parish Ln, Pearl Rd, Plummer Rd, Porter Rd, Tyler Rd, Washington St (#123-285)and Wood Hill Lane.
