**IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT**

**AVOID MOSQUITO BITES**

Boxford residents, please be aware that the West Nile Virus has been found in North Andover. To avoid being bitten by mosquitoes, please take appropriate precautions when going outdoors, especially during peak mosquito biting hours which are dusk to dawn. With the exception of babies, everyone should use bug repellent that contains DEET when going outdoors. Other important precautions are to wear appropriate clothing which covers your arms, legs and feet to prevent bugs from getting on your skin. H1N1 Swine Flu Update - MASS 2-1-1 Information

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has activated a 24-hour hotline. Dial 2-1-1 or 1(877)211-6277 (toll free) for up-to-date information on the H1N1 flu. They also have a dedicated website to disseminate basic information to the public regarding swine influenza which you can access by clicking here: MASS 2-1-1
